Workflow Automation Engineer

There is a difference between an automation that demos well and one that runs a business. As workflow automation engineers, we build the second kind: tested, logged, monitored and boring in the best possible way.

Engineering discipline, applied to workflows

Our production rules come from running real systems daily: every workflow is idempotent (running it twice never applies a change twice), deduplicates its inputs, retries transient failures, logs every run, and alerts a human when it cannot recover. Inputs are validated, outputs are verified, and edge cases are tested with real data before launch — not discovered after.

Built on systems we operate ourselves

The portfolio on this site is not a slide deck: our own publishing, monitoring and alerting systems execute on schedule every day, built to the same standard we sell. When we say a workflow pattern is reliable, it is because it survived our own production use first.

Handover without lock-in

You receive the workflows, the documentation and a walkthrough for your team. If you later hire in-house or switch providers, your systems remain understandable and yours.

Process

How an engagement runs

Every project follows our six-step process: a free discovery call and audit, a written proposal with a fixed price, the build on your own accounts, testing with your real data, documented handover with training, and optional monthly maintenance from $100–$500/month.

FAQ

Common questions

How do you test a workflow before launch?

With your real data — historical tickets, past invoices, last month’s orders — including the ugly edge cases. You review outputs side by side with what your team produced manually.

What happens when a workflow breaks at night?

Failures trigger alerts with the failing step identified, and safe workflows pause rather than corrupt data. Maintenance clients get fixes handled for them.

Can you take over workflows built by someone else?

Yes. We start with an audit: what each workflow does, where it is fragile, and what to fix first. Many rescue engagements start exactly this way.
