What an AI agent is (and is not)
A workflow follows a fixed path. An agent is given a goal and a set of tools, and decides the steps itself: a support agent reads a ticket, searches the knowledge base, checks the order system, drafts the resolution and only then involves a human if the case is unusual. Agents are powerful — and deliberately scoped. We define exactly what an agent may read, what it may change, and what it must never do alone.
Where agents fit best
Agents shine where the path varies case by case: customer support resolution, inbox management, competitor and market monitoring, lead research and qualification. Where the process is always identical, a plain workflow is more reliable and cheaper — and we will recommend that instead.
Safety is part of the build
Every agent we ship has tool permissions limited to its job, a complete action log, spending limits on API usage, and escalation rules to a human. You can always see what it did, why, and undo it.
